Infotech Aerospace Services Inc was established in 2003 as a 100% subsidiary of Infotech. Infotech Enterprises has divested 51% stake of this wholly owned subsidiary with effect from 1st October 2004 in favour of Pratt & Whitney.
Infotech Aerospace Services is a 'nearshore' facility for North American customers providing skilled US labor while maintaining the price and resource advantage of being offshore. The development center will help Infotech improve it's service to it's customers by creating an alternative location for project execution, project delivery and will help Infotech further strengthen it's Business Continuity plans.
Initially this facility will provide services in the areas of code verification, drafting, modeling, tool design and other support functions. Puerto Rico represents a significant opportunity for Infotech to take advantage of the cost effective resource base of Puerto Rico to provide services to the North American defense related industries.
