The selected candidate will be responsible for heading the photogrammetry Division in InfoTech, controlling the conduct / execution of the various projects involving Digital photogrammetry. He should be conversant with steps such as Aerial Triangulation(Interior and Exterior Orientation), Stereo Data Compilation (Planimetry, DEM and 3D), Ortho generation and feature capturing. Experience in handling operations consisting of at least 50 staff performing the steps such as colour balancing, Mosaicing and tiling will be an added advantage.
The head, photogrammetry is responsible for the smooth conduct of the various photogrammetry projects executed in InfoTech. The responsibilities range from constantly monitoring the progress, take the appropriate preventive and corrective measures, provide technical inputs / guidance for
his team on the various elements of Digital photogrammetry to providing status and quality output to our clients. Focus on Quality deliverables, timely shipments and efficiency in operations will be the key parameters for the success and naturally, his / her performance will be measured on these.
As our photogrammetry Division is run a s a profit center, the systems and processes play an important role. The ability to design, develop and implementing the processes and adherence to the systems established will all lead to the division`s profitability. Exhibiting leadership skills both in Technical and Administration would be key to his success.
The candidate should be prepared to face and meet the challenges in the current competitive environment and willing to lead by an example.
The Head, Photogrammetry should be capable of the following:
1) Interact between marketing & Technical team.
2) Follow up with marketing on the pending quotes.
3) Bring in New technology into the company.
The incumbent should also be able to demonstrate the photogrammetry skills to the distinguished visitors and prospects.
Ideally, the candidate should be in mid 40`s and have at least 12 to 15 years of experience in Photogrammetry / Remote sensing.
